Tips for a well remembered entertainment event.

When a lot of people talk about Durban July what comes into mind? As for me it is horses, fashion, celebrities, food and definitely a great crowd. I know that most of us would like to be part of this event is not it?  For the Durban July to become such a well-supported, fun and attended event. There is a team behind it so that attendees can enjoy and be able to attend it  annually. This event is not only about the fabulous attires that we see or a good time that people get to experience at the event. For such an event to become successful there are certain  procedures  that the planner  has to consider:

  • Allocate tasks among the team.
  • Avoid last hour planning as it can make the event a typical mess.
  • Be consistent.
  •  Consider your reputation and the client’s reputation.
  • Evaluate the strategies used more often.

It is true what they say that hard work does pay off .But honestly I have to give a heads up to the event
planners of the Durban July to this day I have not heard of criticism about it in any way. Instead it is always impressive and keeps up. There are lessons that planners can learn from this event. This event not only benefits on its own, it gives its sponsors exposure.  This is another way that this event can get more sponsors. So planners it is important to take a page from the Durban July planner’s book. It is great pleasure to plan an event that satisfies the clients and get the people talking about it weeks and weeks after it had taken place.

  1. This is quite an event to plan, surely it takes about five to six months to plan. It is a nationally known event, if not internationally. So, this takes extra careful planning to make sure that it continues being a success. One mishap will damage the whole image.
